Fairwell to Pumpkins and Cherry-Berries

As all visits must, Cheryl's had come to an end. We bought a pumpkin cake from Paris Baguette the night before she left to celebrate our fun times we had together.

Cheryl (right) refused to appear in the pictures, but she enjoyed the cake with all of us. We chose the fresh pumpkin cake because it looked good and because we knew that we'd never find something like that in the States. For such a small cake, it was a little pricey, but candles, matches, and confetti were included, so we decided to use them in the festivities.

Here Jana and I are about to pull the pressurized confetti capsules:

Yay, confetti!

There were four candles, one for each of us.

The one that is still burning in the picture is Cheryl's.

After all the candles were blown out, we cut the cake and ate it. And it was good.

Good bye, Cheryl. Good bye, pumpkin cake... We miss you.

Clint and I love the song - you are the winner of the tricky blogger award. How did you do that? Clint is having Witt withdrawls - he'd really like to do something to help you out this month - we've still got two more days, oh wait, it's tomorrow for you. Dang - one more day :)

Hahaha, :) We miss you guys too. Clint was the best home teacher we ever had. It would be great if he could come over and see us tomorrow. If he leaves in the next 12 hours he'll just make it. ;)

Another one of those semi-ambiguous sayings, Tiff. Which do you REALLY miss: Cheryl or the pumpkin cake? The safe answer is to say "both," but I know better...

mmmmm, pumpkin cake.

I plead the Fifth.

Does that still apply over here?
