First the shadow, and then the light.

As I mentioned in a previous post, I have started taking oil painting classes.


Here is a close up of my first painting and the progress on it so far.

Since it takes a long time for oils to dry, I've started another painting to work on while the other is drying. So far it looks like this:

It will hopefully look like this when it's finished:
