Who is the King of Farts? Any takers?

I know who is the King of Farts. No, Joey, it's not you. Observe below:

Look closely at the writing. I will help you out.

We found this at E-Mart, Korea's Super Target. I wonder who proof reads these things.

Is that supposed to be Winnie the Pooh?

I kind of wondered that myself, actually. Apparently, "Poong Poong" is a farting noise in Korean, so I guess they really do mean the Fart King. They probably thought that "Pooh" is the same as "poo," and therefore decided that farting was just as funny as poo, if not funnier.

And also that looks like what appears to be a rice cooker? We need to get James a really good rice cooker for a wedding presant. I am assuming they are really cheap at E-mart. Perhaps we can even get him one with the Fart King on it????

Oh, one more thing. Although poong poong claims to be the king of farts, I know who really is. I was visiting the Trailer Park in Utah last Saturday. We were gathered around for the usual prayer and scriptures and a familiar but distasteful smell started rising up and attacking our nostrils. I remembered who the King of Farts is. We exlaimed in disgust,"SAMMY!!! NOT AGAIN!!!"

But of course, he continued on obliviously.

It's true. Sammy, loveable and so cute, is also a farting machine. It's been a while since I've seen the Trailor Folk, but I'm sure Sammy could give King Poong Poong a run for his title.

It's not a rice cooker; it's a garbage can. However, I'm sure we can find Fart King rice cookers. And in Korea they have really cool digital rice cookers that can do anything! If we got one for James I am sure he could cook a burrito in it.

Oh, I guess James could then be in the running for the Fart King.

If we give James the King Poong Poong rice cooker to cook burritos in, then he will BECOME the Fart King. Maybe we should think twice about such a gift...

Nah. ~smiles evilly~

Hey Tiffany
I finally got around to veiwing your blog. It is so funny! I love this fart king thing. Koreans are big into the potty humor and another funny thing about this item is that it's the kind of small trash can you find in the bathroom stalls that are supposed to be for toilet paper. You aren't supposed to flush your paper here due to less than modern plumbing systems. So the fart king in the bathroom stall should feel right at home indeed! Wish I could find one and send it to someone without children to copy this....
